Lt. Brahma is a boy. The comb plus the black cape going down the back-had one of those that was sexed wrong by Ideal. Your picture made me miss him!
Cant say about Cochins since I've never had any. Kinda seems girly to me, but don't quote me on it.

The second one looks like a gold-laced cochin to me. Looks pretty pulletish, but it may be too early to tell -how old is it?
