Hello all BYC members!

We unfortunately received a couple of roos when we last updated our flock in March and need to find them some new homes. They have recently started crowing on the regular and I want to alleviate any problems with the neighbors before one starts. We also have a brand new baby boy (9 days old) that I'd like to sleep in with, without having to get up at the crack of dawn every morning to make sure that our other boys aren't waking our neighbors.

The first is a beautiful Golden Laced Wyandotte named Bumblebee. He's very large for how young he is and has a pretty strong crow. He watches over the girls, but is hesitant to mixing in with our 2 older hens (which is causing lots of non-intergration issues and currently the need for 2 coops).
The second is a spunky, very cute white Silkie named Phyllis Diller (now turned Philly Diller, he's keeping with the times). He's very good with all of the other chickens in our flock and fairly non-dominant, but will not be pushed around either, he stands his ground firmly and gets his respect without causing the trouble.

I'd like for them to go on to be someone's new friends instead of their next meal, but the way things stand, we just need to find them new accommidations.

If you're interested in one or both and could offer them a new home as soon as possible, we'd be eternally grateful!

Please feel free to contact me here on the forum via reply or IM or email me directly at: [email protected]

Thank you so much in advance!! and we look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Nik :)
