So... I went to the feedstore today, with intentions of buying some horse feed... and came back with a one-eyed, crossbeaked Ameraucana chick. She is about four days old, and seems quite healthy. She is in the same cage as my guinea keet and Polish chick, but separated by a piece of wire-stuff because the keet was picking on her. They are all the same age. So, she is eating, and I have two dishes in with her, one with watered down feed and one with dry feed. She is getting some of it down, but having a little trouble.
So, I haven't had any chickens with crossbeak before, is there anything I should be doing for her? Aside from the obvious, she seems fine, but like I said, I am new to this. Anything I should know? And is there any way to make it easier for her to eat?
