Brindle silkie?

So someone said my roo was not just a black roo with lots of gold leakage but that he may be the coloring of brindle. When I think of brindle I think of tiger stripes on a dog...LOL


Here he is I'd like to hear your advice. Bred to black I get alot of Offspring like him & solid black chicks too.

His underneath plumage looks blue.
 
I thought he was more partridge colored. I haven't ever heard of brindle in poultry.
I have roo that is colored somewhat like that but blue and gold and breeders have always told me he is a blue partridge. He is on my website under Sizzles, though he is a Silkie in that breeding program.
 
My aunt has two of his offspring that looks black she bred them together and this is some of the offspring she is getting from them.
