Hi, me again. 😢 We have lymphoid leukosis in the flock and recently lost one. Another is going through a molt late and now we have record low temps happening. It’s dumping snow and getting into the teens which is abnormal for western Washington. One of our girls is breathing heavily, light comb, ruffled feathers. I don’t want to bring anyone inside to have it be hard on them to reacclimate, but at this point I’m worried we’ll lose her if we don’t.

Any thoughts? We have her inside right now, just took her in. The garage is chilly and not much better than the coop.

Also should say I’ve done everything to weatherproof. Coop is dry, insulated, ventilated, extra bedding, etc.

You may need to move her where it's even warmer since she's struggling.
Do you think her difficulty breathing is due to an enlarged abdomen or respiratory illness?
I would assume LL but wouldn’t rule out other things! Her abdomen feels ok and no respiratory signs otherwise. I brought the whole flock in the garage. ā¤ļø
