Bringing in new ducklings

We have a male Pekin who recently lost his sibling to a coyote. He seems very sad and we thought about getting a few ducklings. Does anyone know if ducks tend to be aggressive to ducklings?

sorry I know nothing about ducks except they are adorable. Many duck people here and will be responding to you shortly, I expect. Meanwhile you could head for the
"Other Backyard poultry thread', that includes ducks, geese, quail etc. I would imagine your duckling would do best with a buddy or two around his age.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

I would also recommend checking in with the duck folks. It often doesn't go well when young animals are introduced to older, larger ones.
