Brinsea Chicksafe Eco opener wound too tight, reset not working.

Hi all, I was trying to set up my new brinsea door opener and the cord slipped out of my door and it now wound too taught.
I've tried the reset instructions a few times and it's not working.
Any ideas? Can I get an Alan wrench and loosen the motor?

Looks like not many, or anyone, have this door.
Best to call the manufacturer.

Brinsea support is no help at all , any thoughts?
I'm going to loosen the hex nut and pull it out, that's where the timer mechanism would go if it was the fancier model.
