Isearched everywhere for an answer to this....

I built a brooder and am going to use the Brinsea brooders to heat the chicks, my question is...

Do I need to also provide a lighting source?

the brooder will be located next to a double patio door, so lots of natural light (its open (but with hardware cloth) in the front, kitchen cabinet style.

thanks

No you do not. The natural light and the heat from the Brinsea will be just fine.
Best,
Karen
