Brinsea Mini Eco

Has anyone hatched eggs in the Brinsea Mini Eco?
Is it a good incubator?
is it easy to control humidity and temperature?
Plus, I was looking for a guide to incubation of duck eggs (correct humidity, temp, how to change humidity, turning, etc...)
All info will be appreciated, thanks.

I love my brinsea! So much that I also bought the Eco 20 . The mini keeps humidity about right (I still bought a humidity gadge to make sure) and temps stay perfectly steady! And it recovers temp and humidity fast after opening.

Thanks. i think i'm going to buy one. what have you hatched in it? i'm thinking of hatching some duck eggs but i'm not sure...

i just purchased one it will be here tomorrow....any tips for hatching every time?

Keep it clean/sterilize between each hatch. I have great hatches every time. Even hand turning each day. But I do wash my hands before touching the eggs. I also put a tiny bit of bleach in water and use that for the water in the humidity cup to make sure no bacteria grows.

great idea! have u had all 10 eggs hatch before? is there enough room for the chicks?

I've had 12 bantam eggs in it before that all hatched! Amazing I say I did take out some chicks during hatch, but only because some hadn't externally pipped yet. The last two batches I've put about 10 in at a time and got 7 to hatch. It got squishy in there.... And they were only bantams...so I can't imagine how tight 10 LF chicks would be.

Do u keep water in there? Or do u just fill it up before lockdown? My first time was successful but only 2 out of 9
