Brinsea, Octagon 20 Advance

Hi, I have a Brinsea, Octagon 20 Advance with 6 eggs in it but for some reason the temperature keeps getting to hot. Has anyone had this before or know what to do?

How much is it too high, is it running consistently high or is the temperature swinging? Have you double checked the temperature with a different thermometer? (You are going off the readout on the incubator?) What happens when you try to set/reset it? Near the bottom Brinsea does have instructions on recalibrating them yourself http://www.brinsea.com/pdffiles/Oct2040AdvanceUS.pdf Since you have eggs in it, if it holds temperature consistently, I would consider just adjusting the set temperature (ignoring the reading) until the extra thermometer read what I wanted, and incubate with that. Then consider either recalibrating or sending it in for service especially if it hasn't been.
