Brite-Tap Nipple waterer

I purchased a Brite-tap two position nipple waterer. Does any one have a sure fire method of getting the chickens to use them? I have had it set up for about two weeks now and they don't seem to use it or know what it is for? I would appreciate any help .

We've got the brite tap hooked onto a 3 gallon igloo cooler. I just tapped it a few times and when they investigated they saw the water. Once you get one to do it the rest will most likely follow pretty quickly.
