Who all does it? It’s been 105 here and getting the itch to get 4 more. They would be on back patio locked up in some shade but would they get too hot? Raised some in the garage in April but now my garage is a sauna with this heat. Advice?
My brooder is on the back porch. We are raising a single injured chick in it right now. She’s hot, like we all are, but not suffering. Put a thermometer out there on the patio and see what the temp is where you want the brooder. If it’s really 105, give them a small fan to keep the air moving and put ice cubes in the waterer throughout the day.
