Hey everyone I’m wondering when I can put my Cornish cross chicks out in the coop it’s 25-60 degrees there almost 3 weeks old. Would they be safe outside with a heat lamp inside the coop? Opening the door on warm days? Or letting them come and go as they please?

Would they be safe outside with a heat lamp inside the coop?
Yes.
If the heat lamp is safely powered and secured....
...and your coop is dry and chicks can be out of any wind.

Or letting them come and go as they please?
Not sure I'd let chicks that young free range, bout outside in a secure run would be fine.

Oh, and....Welcome to BYC! @Weavers chickens
