broiler question

We have 50 broiler chicks orderd, and reading about their feeding advice in the Meyer Hatchery catalog, they suggest awithdrawal for the last 3 weeks until butcher. What exactly does that mean? No feed for three weeks?

what kind of feed do they suggest, medicated, if so, that's what they mean. if its med. you really don't need it, broilers are not alive long enough

Yes, they do say medicated for the first three weeks. We did not get med. feed because we couldn't find it in our area. So we got starter.

if you are not using medicated, you can ignore the 3 week withdrawal
