Broken Blood Vessel in Duckling's Eye?

I just noticed this today when I took my little guys out for a walk. The little Cayuga was tripping and would not open his eye. When he finally did, I noticed how red his iris was. I fear it's a broken blood vessel caused by his duckling friend. She likes to peck. Is there anything I could do, does this happen often, and should he see a vet?
