My day old chick is drinking water and I am giving her pro gel in a dropper. I just don't know what to feed her. She wants to eat!
We just got them today. Two have died already. Nothing we could do. I want this one to make it!!!

She has trauma to her face and one of her eyes is swollen, but she is fine on everything else. Her beak doesn't close together like the others.

Help

Be sure that if you bought them from a hatchery that you contact them regarding the loss of the chicks. For the little deformed beak baby you might try to put a little starter in a dish with some plain yogurt. I have also read recently about someone giving a baby an uncooked egg mix.

Maybe try a poultry drench as well to boost her system.

She is drinking, but I haven't been able to get her to eat much. I am going to get some yogurt today. I think she is blind. She had major trauma to her face. Do you think a formula food would be ok?

I had come cat formula. So, I tried that. I just don't know how much to feed and how often. She is getting weak. I have lost 5 already.

I lost the battle some time between midnight and 2am.
I have lost 9 and it looks like one more is not doing good

where did you get these chicks? Also did you inform the people that you got them from?
Did you provide dry crumble chick starter from day one?
Did you provide a drinking fountain for baby chicks?

Did you provide 98 degree heat for the chicks?
I csan't for the life of me figure why you lost so many chicks???
why did the one chick get tra,a to the face?
things just don't add up here
please keep us posted and answer some questions
