HI Guys
Some of my nine 22 week old EEs started laying about 2 weeks ago, Eggs have been in the nest boxes except for one till today
I found two broken under the roost next to the pop door one was smashed pretty good the other just a small crack.
I don't know if they were laid there or if they tried to lay them from the roost and they fell and broke.
Now I'm trying to think of a way to stop them from doing this again. We did have golf balls in the nest boxes but last week we took them out.
Should I put the golf balls back in the nest box?
Should I try to block the the area with something?
Should I just put a make shift nest box there to protect the eggs they lay there?
You would think after seeing the others lay in the nests that they would all do it
