Broken Feathers - What causes this???

I have an 18 month old EE hen that I thought was just molting, but picked her up today, and many of her feathers are BROKEN. Is this caused by disease, mites or other. She is definitely not getting picked on. Lately has been first one in coop at night and last one out, a little stand offish and sitting away from others not laying for a week or more.

Possible cause and course of action appreciated. Thanks

What's the pecking order like? Or do you know? Is all the broken feathers all in the same area, or all over her? What type of feathers are broken, or is it any?

Those look like new pin feathers starting to lose the sheathing.
