Welcome to BYC. Many chickens will sprain a leg jumping off roosts or from an injury. Check the bottom of her footpad for a black scab and welling that is bumblefoot. Then check the entire leg up into feathers for any swelling or bruising. I have heard that a break will look swollen. Sprains can take weeks to heal, so I would probably make her rest it in a cage for a week at a time with food and water containing a vitamin B complex tablet or poultry vitamins. One of mine who got around foraging and roosting okay, healed without a cage, but it took 6 weeks for the sprain to heal. Aspirin 80 mg can be given for pain and inflammation twice a day, but some recommend no pain medicine to keep them off the leg.
