on of my two month old hens got out and I caught my dog with it. It’s still breathing and will open her eyes, but is content laying still (even on her back.) how can I tell if her neck is broken? I don’t want her to suffer, but I am unsure of what to do!

I hope somebody helps you soon, I have no idea if it is a broken neck.

I would place her on a towel in a warm and quiet/dim spot, possibly in a dog crate. The neck may be limp if she is really out of it. There is also a condition called wry neck, which can cause a twisted neck, or sometimes a limp neck. Wry neck is a neurological symptom that can be common with a head or neck injury. If she is able to move her feet and wings, the neck is not broken. But in your picture her wings look limp as well. So it may be badly injured or the neck could be broken. Let us know how she is in a little while. Only when she is awake and alert, try to get her to drink a little water in a small lid or cup. Then electrolytes would be good. Sorry about your chick.
