Broken or injured Toe......

Hi, I've noticed this morning that one of my chickens had a very serious limp when she walked. I had a further look and her middle Toe looks broken or injured somehow. I don't know how you can tell if it's broken? It's not swollen or bleeding just very flexible compared to her other toes. I don't know what to do about it? Will it heel by itself or should I take her to the vet? She is sitting down alot and not walking on it much... any advice??

if its one toe do nothing, let her rest heal herself, it may take two weeks for her to get better. be sure theres no cuts or thorns. she probable got it caught between something. you can help make her feel good by putting her foot in cool water.
