Hi TonyVery good looking Amherst.Notice there is no red at the base of the tail,just the 6 or so coming out of the tail.This is what an Amherst should look like.

Right under the end of the wings on their lower back.Most Amherst now adays have red where is should be yellow.Hi Tony
If you mean "no red at the base of the tail" Is that at the bottom od the tail where the tail feathers start?
