Hi everyone,
I am currently incubating jumbo quail eggs. I am on day 11 and today I noticed that one of my eggs had broken inside the incubator. There was a bad smell and I discarded the egg strait away. After removing the bad egg the smell has subsided but I noticed there is a tiny amount of yoke sitting in the bottom of the incubator. Is it worth taking the eggs out at this point to sanitise the entire incubator or should I keep them in there? None of the other eggs appear damaged
I’m on day 11 so not sure what the best option is.
Thanks

I presume that little bit of yolk is pretty dried on so now it's doubtful it would cause any problems. If you're going to candle them anytime soon or at lockdown, I'd quickly remove that then just so when the humidity rises it's not turning moist again.

Welcome to BYC, and wishing you a great hatch!

That sounds like a plan. Thanks so much for your help. Cheers
