Hi, long story short I have a few bronze breasted turkeys around a month old and 1 of them now has this problem, the other died from it. I'm not 100% sure on my terminology but this turkey is resting on it's hocks with it's feet sticking up in a the air. From what I read, the hock is the "elbow" of their legs. Both of them would just lay down by themselves, it was like they were shunned from the group. After 1 of them died, which was just a day ago, I checked the other one with the similar problem. I picked him up and flipped him upside down. There was a pussy looking infection bubble on the hock/"elbow" and around the area it looked raw, like an open wound. What can I do to help him/her, I really don't want to lose it.
