Brooder Heat

Hubs and I went to Tractor Supply this morning...to "look" at the baby chicks and just plain look around.

I did not find the chicks I really wanted ( Sapphire Gems ) so maybe they will come in later. So I settled for 4 New Hampshire Red pullet babies.

I did find this... probably a knock-off from the Brinsea brooder.... and quite a bit cheaper.

The number of 'knock offs' are growing.
Might be cheaper because it's only 8x13"?
That's pretty small....tho I see they don't claim how many chicks can fit.
