So my chicks are coming this Friday and I'm working on my brooder. I ordered 3 pullet chicks, but I know I'm gonna get a ton of packing peanuts. I'm holding onto the little roos for the first weekend and I'm making a temporary brooder for them. I went out and bought 2 150W lightbulbs, but I'm not gonna go out and buy a second reflector for the roos' brooder. Any suggestions to a simple cheap reflector I could make for the roos' brooder?

I would use a red heat lamp. Less stress and it is better for them. I would just keep all the babies together. They like to be in groups and huddle together.

I use one 250 watt red heatlamp w/ reflector in a big bin/tub and that is sufficient. More chicks together = more heat.
