Ended Brooder Page Contest - Fall/Winter 2012

It's 6 feet tall..with 3 ft top leveland 3 foot bottom levl (run). The top has 2 roosts and an automatic feeder and waterer and bottom level is for run space/playing. The two levels are connected by a "ramp". They love it and we love not having to worry about whether or not they're comfortable while waiting for their coop to be finished! I hope we win My Hubby put alot of thought into their needs to keep them (and me) happy Best of luck to everyone who entered! All the brooders are great. We have some well-loved chickens, don't we?

Oh yeah..one thing he did that I love is make it so all 4 of the doors could open and lock closed. Makes cleaning easier

For some reason, I don't see my brooder in with the other brooders. Must've done something wrong..?

Adding to the brooder, incubator, and coop sections is a manual process. Your brooder and all the rest here so far have been indexed now.

Here is my brooder. I called it my "Second Stage" brooder, since I had the girls in a cardboard box when I first got them home. After waiting patiently for me to find a day when I had time to build this, they have recently moved into their new digs!
