Brooder question

I have a really big deep freezer that was in our barn when we moved here... Its in really good shape so I was thinking instead of trashing it why not turn it into a brooder... would this work? I use to raise parrots and our brooders for them was plastic coolers.. so figured with some work the freezer may just work?

My concern would be adequate ventilation. And it may be difficult to continually clean out the bedding.

True... I know on the cooler brooders we used little vents from lowes with steel wool pieces over them so no draft.. as far as cleanout shop vacs are awesome lol... I would remove the lid or at least half of it and cover with something else plexi glass or something? But it may be too big.. hmmm
