Brooder temp question

Hey everyone I have a quick question. My chicks are now 11 days old. I raised the heat lamp in the brooder today to 90, however it is lower around the outside of the brooder. Should the temp be 90 around the perimeter and a biit hotter toward the middle OR 90 at the center and cooler around the perimeter?

90 at the center. If the chicks are laying on the opposite side of the brooder away from the light you might want to lower it to 85 degrees.
