brooding beyond 60 days

I have a hen that wont stop trying to hatch her overdue[dead] eggs. I need to remove her but it hurts me to see her cluck -cluck around the yard calling for her chicks that she doesnt understand why they did not hatch she spent so much time for nothing. Other hens in the past have given up and left the nest after 30 days what shall I do? Also my hens that have had success always loose some due to the high nest box and new hatchs falling to the ground and been eaten by the others Any help on these 2 problems?

Can you find a baby chick for her? If you dont want baby chick, put the hen out of her nest . she will give up in few days.
