I am about to get some new chicks. We have our brooder set up in our coop this time. The temps this week will be in the 80s-90. Should I still have my heat source on during the day when it is that hot? Thank you

You can have it on but I would monitor the temps and if it gets over the recommended temps to just turn it off. I usually put my chicks (quail not chickens so might be different) outside with zero additional heat after they are 3-5 days old.
