One of our silkie bantams has been staying in her coop (where she usually lays her eggs) for some days. I take her out to feed her because she wouldn’t come out by herself.
She then stays in her seated position for a while until she sees her treats, then she gets up, eats and drinks but goes back to her coop.
Today I have seen her tail feathers shiver. Does anybody know if that’s normal?
She had laid her daily eggs up until 4 days ago, after she laid a soft shelled egg. Since then she has been sitting in the coop all day. I also don’t see her poop.

Could it be that she is egg bound?

My guess is she's broody. Silkie and broody are synonymous.

The softshell egg though is concerning. Probably need some oyster shell in a bowl on the side.
