Brooding Hen Behavior?

My hen is now laying on 6 fertile eggs... She isn't leaving the nest much except to eat and drink, rarely, also, when she is off her nest, she seems to tremble like she is very cold and seems exhausted...is this normal for a Broody hen??

yeah, that's another case if she's trembling.

a good sign of being broody is when u hear a loud screech when u approach her.

My hen died this morning. :-( We're wondering if she may have been bitten by a centipede. But now I have her eggs and am trying to figure out a way to do a home incubator...any ideas?

Please help.

i feel so sorry for what happened.. my sympathies.. did she already sat on the eggs? you should get one immediately.
