Brooding hen

So i have 3 hens. 1 my naked neck just started laying last week . well now she sitting on all the eggs and wont leave she stayed on the nest last night and is still there this morning . Is this normal for a hen who just started laying .

it can be. Apparently some birds will after just a few eggs are laid. I've got to say though a broody naked neck sounds terrifying

It is normal for any hen that wants to raise a family regardless of age.
I sometimes break the broodiness of very young pullets but they can be successful.
Do you have a rooster?
Fertile eggs under her?

Yes i do and everytime a hen lays an egg he makes quite the fuss over it

I dont know of they are fertile or not i never got the chance to check

What you can do is take an egg that isn't under her (since if they're fertile they've already started to grow) and crack it open. If there's a bullseye, they're fertile

Do you eat your eggs? If so, check for the bullseye when you open them.
