BROODY AGGRESSIVE DUCK - HELP

Hello, I have a Muscovy duck that has just become broody and aggressive. She is now chasing the chickens all around the coop and biting their wings and not letting go. Usually she’s fine but she just became broody within the past week. Any tips on how to stop this aggressive behavior?

Separate her out if you want her to set, bust up the nest if you don't. Muscovy can be moody aggressive mothers.

Also give them room. Are they confined?

BroodyMuscovy can be a force to reckon with. Just like @oldhenlikesdogs said if you don’t want her to sit destroy the nest. If you want her sit your going to have to give her a space away from everyone. I had to put a few in solitary confinement to break them of being a bully to the other birds usually a few days sleeping by themselves brings them out of it.

I agree with @oldhenlikesdogs and @Miss Lydia. Brooding Muscovy hens become very protective of their nest sites.
