Broody broody broody..

I have a broody black Australorp white Plymouth Rock mix. She is all black, and she’s decided to go broody, and one of her eggs is due to hatch, WHILE IM ON VACATION! Should I let her do her thing while Im gone? will she eat the chick?! Any advice? (Only one egg is this far along, it’s a accidental

She shouldn't eat the chick, but if you have more eggs that are a few days behind this one, she may get off the nest to get the first one to food/water and leave the eggs.

What I've done in this case is made a nest in a cardboard box open on one end. I put the chick crumbles feeder and water right in front. Then put the momma and her eggs in that nest.

The chick crumbles are fine for mom to eat too. As long as she and the chicks have food/water, they should be fine.
