BROODY BUFF should I give her chicks?

My hens are a year old. I have four buff Orpingtons and four gold sex links. One of my BO is sitting in everyone’s favorite nesting box and puffs up every time I come near her eggs. My question is, should I introduce new chicks to her? My BO’s are very beautiful, and I love my sex links too, I wouldn’t mind adding more and making her happy. I do worry about the coop being so high off the ground though. What do you guys think? Is it too soon to add more? Will she take to them well?

How many days (or weeks) has she been broody?
If you want, you could wait a little while then give her a couple of day old chicks. If you give them to her too soon, she will be suspicious of them "hatching too early" and won't except them.

She’s been like this for five days. The chicks I’m contemplating on getting come on the 11th. Will the other hens take to the chicks ok? All of my hens are a year old.
