broody button quail?

my female button quail started building a nest and laid her first egg in it does that mean thats she's going to go broody or not

Possibly! Mine (both the hen AND the male) went broody and are taking turns sitting on them. If the eggs survived I should be expecting a hatch sometime this week! My hen didn't stop laying until she got a clutch of 14 eggs or so. So keep an eye out!

I would say probably not at this point, but if you let her keep the eggs she might go broody. Almost all of my hens lay their eggs in the same area every day, that doesn't mean they are broody
