We have 12 lady ducks, ranging from 1 to 2 years of age. We got them a boyfriend this weekend.
The very next day 3 runners started sitting on nests
! Ok I know it only takes one time
but do you really think these eggs are fertile. They aren't hanging with their boyfriend now
.... Should I take those eggs out and get them to go on a few more dates before they settle down & start playing house with a bunch of eggs....
Do ducks just go broody or only after they have been bred
?
