I have an OEGB who went broody on may 22. Four days later I placed the winning bid on Eggbid for Silkie eggs, expecting them to ship the next day.

I'm hoping that the eggs will ship today or tomorrow. If so, they will arrive almost two weeks after the hen went broody.

Should I give her the eggs, or put them in the 'bator? Or just have it on standby in case she gives up before the 21 days is over?

Give them to her...a lot of broodies will sit until they have chicks...sometimes for months! Just have the bator on standby.

Until you set the eggs. Put 3 or so golf balls under her then place the eggs. I think she'll be fine

She's had couple of real (infertile) eggs under her the whole time.
