broody gamebrids

I have a game bird that sat for the first time she had
3 eggs and they were due to hatch anytime, but she
killed them all any suggestions why?????

I had a young hen do the exact same thing. Sat on all the chicks after they hatched and found them all dead and flat. Some hens just don't have it down right and weren't meant to be mothers.

Are you sure she killed them or did a pred get in there and eat the eggs/kill them?
