Woot WOot !!! so happy, I have a broody girl!! one of my rir. After a tough week. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=527902
something awesome is happening. I went outside to check on the chickens, and there is a chicken sitting on some eggs. i had 4 eggs on the counter yesterday and was planning on incubating them, dont have to right now. I put those eggs under her too. dont know how many she is actually sitting on. she hisses and puffs up and growls when i go in near her. she will be such a nice momma!!! sooo happy!! never had a broody hen before.

need some magic over people!!!!! she got off the eggs, shes in the run. its raining like crazy out. not sure if thats what made her move or what. theres about 6 eggs in the nesting box. work your magic broody people on here byc!!!!!! i am going to check to see if she gets back on a little later. im soaking wet just for checking!
