Broody Hen - 21 Days and nothing yet?

I have a broody blue cochin hen, first timer, sitting on 9 eggs. 10 eggs originally, but one must have broke. She is isolated from other birds and has been GLUED to her nest. I have seen her off her nest once in the past 3 weeks and was able to snap a pic of her eggs. Today, about an hour ago, marked 21 days since she has been on her eggs. I peeked under her and nothing. Not a peep, not a chipped egg, nothing, nada, zilch. I'm not a broody hen expert, so any input would be appreciated. Should I be concerned or is it common to take more than 21 days? Thanks!

I have not. I try and disturb the broody hens as little as possible. I have another broody FBCM hen that had a successful hatch three weeks ago with eggs from the same flock, so I would assume that the eggs at least started out good.

I should also note, my FBCM hen hatched in 20.5 days.

Don't worry; some of mine have waited until day 23, and with assists some have been 24. I'll tell you what a freind told me: "Chicken due date's are like people's. often a *relatively* broad space of time." That's not an exact quote, but it's the gist. I've also had them hatch early on day 19.
Late on day 22 I might candle them, if they haven't pipped I might pip them.

Don’t worry. I always feel this is the hen making me work on my patience... it is so difficult to wait!

Thank you....I just didn't know if this was common or not. I thought it was like clockwork - 21 days or the clutch was bad.
