Hi! I'm new here. This forum has been incredibly helpful, seeing as I'm new to chicken raising.
I'm just curious if anyone has come across something like this before. I introduced some chicks into the flock a few weeks ago, and one of my hens, who has been broody for weeks, insisted on adopting them. It worked out great as she has been keeping them safe from the other guys. I'm just curious how long this is going to go on for? Will she go back to normal once the chicks get old enough?
