Broody hen breaks egg . . . now what? Help!

I have a 1st time broody hen who has 4 eggs under her. I went to check on her tonight and noticed she had completely smashed an egg underneath her. The other eggs are a mess. What should I do? Should I clean the eggs or leave them alone? It was her egg. I've added others under her, which she has accepted. I was thinking of adding more eggs under her, but now she is a mess and don't want to waste fertile eggs.

What should I do?
