Broody hen causing exaustion

Okay got it. Hey do you guys think there's any truth to the whole "dunking them in cold water" to lower there temp and that fixing them quickly. Lots of people swore by that and it seems a lot easier. But I just don't believe it

You most likely will put her in shock before you will break her.

Aside the issue of this broody, you might address the heat in your nest box. It gets pretty hot here in SE Georgia and I have some battery powered fans that I point at the nest boxes. It keeps the hens cooler while they lay or when they are broody. There are small ones available at Walmart

I was actually thinking about that but I was thinking about how I would run an electricle cord out there. Rechargeable fans sound perfect!
