So, my hen just went broody, and she’s acting really strange. She’s sitting in there and rocking her head back and forth while looking up. I’m really worried so any ideas would be helpful, thanks.

Hi, Allie. Welcome to BYC.
Is there any way you can video this behavior so you can post it to YouTube then provide a link to the video here? That does not sound like normal broody behavior.
What else is she doing that makes you think she is now broody?
How old is she?

Welcome to BYC. She might be showing signs of adjusting her crop, but sometimes that can be a neurological symptom. A video posted to YouTube with a link here of her doing that behavior may be helpful for us to see. Neurological symptoms sometimes can be due to a deficiency of vitamin E or B1 (Thiamine.)
Check her crop to feel if it is full and hard or puffy. It should be empty and flat in the morning and full in the evening.

Ok, I can post a video tomorrow. She had gone broody 2 months ago also, but something ate the chicks. She is showing typical broody behavior: puffed up, growling, setting on eggs, etc.

She may be suffering from vitamin deficiency due to being broody a couple of times. I would breakmher now, and start her on a good poultry vitamin. Electrolytes would be good for a couple of days, and offer her cooked egg and a balanced chicken feed.
