So I have 11shipped silkie eggs in my incubator that are on day 9 of their incubation. They seem to be developing nicely, I have noticed one of my silkies has been broody for 4 days now, this is her first time going broody. Would I have better luck hatching these eggs, by putting her into her own cage and giving her like 5 eggs to sit on? I do worry that she may just decide to get up and not sit on them, but maybe these shipped eggs will hatch better under her?
Or am I taking a big risk. In the past, I tend to loose the shipped eggs around day 18 before hatching, not sure why.
Advice is much appreciated!
Cheers!
