I have a splash ameracauna that’s broody. I have no rooster so she can’t hatch chicks. If I get her 2-3 chicks, will she accept them? Will she raise them? If she doesn’t raise them, what should I do?

Fostering is generally successful if the hen has been setting for close to 21 days. Put the chicks beneath her in the evening so that she has a period of time to imprint on them. Up early the next morning to assure that she has accepted them. If she doesn't accept them, prepare a brooder.

Where are you located, which state or country? We might be able to help you get hatching eggs from a neighbor. Or maybe even chicks.

If you get her chicks they need to be very young, the younger the better. Three days old isn't too bad. The older they get the less likely it is to work.
