Broody hen sitting on eggs now what?

We will have baby chicks soon it seems. Very hopeful she is sitting round the clock. So now what do we do? In the past when we got chicks we kept them in the bathtub with a heat lamp until we felt we could bring them out in the big pen. We are in florida so it is warm here. Our concern is I am reading people keeping chicks in dog crates I assUme with the hen. If keep the hen with them seperated from Roos how long does the Hen stay with her chicks Forever? I have had problems with trying to integrate my hens together in the past as someone seems to get picked on.

You can keep the hen with the chicks. You can let her out with the chicks at like a week old and she will keep eye on the chicks till about 6 weeks old and "kick them out" so to say and spend less and less time with them as they integrate with the flock. Best of luck!
